Who doesn’t want to live a better life and make the most of it while you are still alive on this planet? Here are some tips that will help you to look at life from a different perspective and improve its quality.
- Keep yourself away from negative people.
- Start your day with a smile and make yourself believe that it is going to be an awesome day.
- See failures and disappointments as an opportunity to do even better.
- Follow your heart but take your head with you.
- Practice forgiveness! It may seem really difficult at first but you will thank yourself later.
- Don’t compare your life with someone else’s.
- Stop taking things personally.
- It’s okay to be there for others. But make sure you don’t put yourself down meanwhile.
- Focus on the good in every situation. Very difficult at first, but trust me, you will get better with practise.
- Pamper yourself with a treat or a spa once in a while.
- Don’t let your dreams just be dreams. Get up and chase them.
- Enjoy the little things in life.
- If you are unhappy about something in your life, change it! If you can’t change it, accept it gracefully.
- If you want to do something, do it NOW! Don’t wait for the perfect moment.
- Always be grateful for what you have! Remember, there are people who have less than you and yet live happier lives.
- Never let someone make you doubt yourself. You are better than what you think you are!
- Stop letting your past haunt you. You are not that person anymore. Forgive yourself and move on.
- Don’t tie your happiness to people or things. You will be stripped of happiness when that person or thing is lost from your life.
- Never talk bad about someone (especially behind their backs) even if you don’t like that person.
- Lastly, I would like to quote Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”.
You have a great list here! Some of them are difficult to achieve, but worth it. 19 is something I’m working on, at the moment. I don’t like to talk about people, but feel the need to unburden and talk to someone when something bad happens. Do you have any tips for that? 🙂

Let me share a tip I got from a Bollywood movie 😉 When someone hurts you or you feel overwhelmed by negative emotions, just write all your emotions on a piece of paper and burn it. Hope it helps 🙂 Sorry for the late reply though.

No problem, I do the part of the writing and one time I tried the burning as well. But I almost set my bedroom on fire. I don’t know if I should laugh or feel ashamed. ;P

Yes! x20!
Great tips, I especially love no. 7 and 8 because it’s something most of us forget about, but still is so important for our wellbeing and happiness.

So true! It took me a lot of effort to stop taking things personally, but yeah, it was worth it!
